“Follow your gut”…
“I have a gut feeling”…
“In the pit of my stomach”…

There is merit in these sayings. Our gut health dictates our overall well-being so much more than originally understood.

It not only plays a roll in how we digest food, but also in our hormonal function, brain health, immunity and whether or not we develop disease.

Ironically, just like the ecosystems of the earth, our own microbiomes are losing their diversity. They too are losing the ability to sustain our optimal health.

When flourishing, our gut flora work symbiotically and support every system of our bodies.

It needs to be protected and nurtured! We must protect it by eliminating manufactured foods and repopulate it by encouraging foods that nature intended for the human species.
