Food is our most efficient means to health
As a certified Wellness Consultant, I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn to first. My mission is simple: give my clients the wellness education, tools, and resources that they need to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures.
We live in an ever-changing world that leaves us struggling to keep up at the best of times not to mention trying to navigate what the latest eating trends are and why we need to apply them.
There is an alarming rise in inflammatory diseases including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction and IBS. There is also increasing discoveries that connect inflammatory components to diseases of the Nervous System such as ADHD, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease.
By controlling blood sugar imbalance and insulin resistance with food, we can optimize our metabolic function and increase our chances of avoiding the path leading to metabolic syndrome.
Now comes the big question
Could we decrease the odds of developing inflammatory diseases if we adjusted our eating habits? Absolutely! If you have been suffering from aches and pains, abdominal discomfort, irregular bowel movements, unexplained weight gain, mental fog, or just a general sense of ill health, there is a high chance you suffer from chronic inflammation.
Inflammation leads to illness by first disrupting the gut and causing a cascade of metabolic disfunction.
Even individuals that suffer from such diseases including Diabetes, Hypothyroidism and Arthritis can experience considerable improvement in symptoms just by changing how and what they eat.
The sooner diet and lifestyle is acknowledged, the more likelihood symptoms are manageable; or better still, the higher the probability of avoiding disease altogether.

I don’t promote restrictions. I don’t promote Vegan or Vegetarianism, Paleo or any diet styles out there that consider some foods “taboo”.
Restrictions feed cravings… And cravings lead to meltdowns. Meltdowns eventually lead to self-destructive guilt ….feelings of failure that have never helped anyone!
My goal is to teach you. Teach you about food and what it can do for you. I want to teach you about ingredients and their value and why some things might not be as optimal as others.
I want to teach you why certain foods can be harmful, and what they are actually doing to the cells of your body. You have a right to know so you can make educated decisions based on what feels right for your particular world and lifestyle. My focus is to balance your metabolism with food. Eating whatever you want to maintain weight and stay healthy is easy: the hard part is changing what you WANT to eat. As long as you have the truth, and I mean all of it, then the rest is up to you.
By implementing small strategic changes in a gradual way, we can change your relationship with food. You will learn how to connect with what you consume and gain the ability to eat on an intuitive level. When this happens, you will have retrained your body to naturally regulate its metabolism and offer countless side effects including regained energy, mental clarity, and weight loss.
