It is always best to get nutrients from the food we eat. Food is the most natural source of vitamins and minerals with the added benefit of fibre and taste!
Unfortunately it is hard for some to make the transition to healthier eating, leaving them with little resources for these optimal nutrients.
On the other hand, we may be eating plenty of what we know to be healthy and wholesome foods, but the soils in which they were cultivated are lacking these nutrients to pass on.
Both scenarios may give reason to add supplementation to one’s diet.
